Troy Kuziel is the General Manager for his father, Ron Kuziel, and the Conch. In fact, the location of the team was
decided by Troy's name. When Ron determined he would move the Conch from St. Croix after the 1988 season, he picked a town
with a name that makes one think about his son: East Troy, Wisconsin.
Additionally, the year that Troy was born (1989) was the same year that Troy Aikman joined the Cowboys out of UCLA. Ron had the first
pick in the DNFL draft that year and rumors were rampant that he would choose Aikman with that pick in honor of his son. Ron put the
good of his franchise ahead of honoring his son however, and drafted Barry Sanders instead. This move contributed to Ron's
dominance of the DNFL in the early 90's.
